Data Flags
The UBC flags on the data tables mean:
- "OK" -- This data has passed some form of quality control at UBC.
For now, this is usually range checking, done mostly to catch
transmission errors.
- "X" -- This data did not pass UBC's simple quality control.
- "?" -- UBC is unable to evaluate the validity of this data in any
way, often because of some other missing data or because we have as
yet no procedure for checking either range or time-continuity for this
variable.
If you are planning to become a data contributor and you have not chosen
a format in which to send your data, please see our
suggested data format.
